The Buttercup Bash
The Junior Women’s Association of Tulsa will be hosting its 2nd Annual “Buttercup Bash” December 4th, 2009 at D’Novo. This year’s event will be sponsored by Williams and Urban Tulsa Weekly; tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door the night of the event with proceeds benefiting the Tulsa Boy’s Home. The Junior Women’s Association is an auxiliary organization of the Tulsa Boys Home of that helps raise funds and spends time with the boys on a monthly basis. JWA started out as the Buttercups 81 years ago, with women taking butter to TBH for the boys to have with their bread.
A cash bar will be available, and a silent auction will also be held.
